Account Deletion Request

This page explains how to delete your Mr Kanji account and associated app data.

Option 1: Delete directly in the app (recommended)

  1. Open Mr Kanji
  2. Go to Account > Account actions > Delete account
  3. Complete the confirmation and re-authentication prompts

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from your account email address with:

  • Subject: Account Deletion Request
  • Your account email address
  • Optional: reason for deletion

We may need to verify that you are the account owner before completing deletion. We aim to process verified requests within 7 business days.

Send Deletion Request

What gets deleted

  • Your Mr Kanji authentication account
  • Profile data, including stored name fields
  • Learning progress, quiz progress, quiz history, streaks, and related synced study data
  • App settings and synced preferences linked to your account
  • Notes, folders, and related user records linked to your account
  • Kanji issue reports submitted by your account, where applicable

What may remain

  • Temporary local cache on your device until app data is cleared or the app is removed
  • Limited records retained where required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, backup, or recovery purposes
