Account Deletion Request

This page explains how to delete your Mr Kanji account and associated app data.

Option 1: Delete directly in the app (recommended)

  1. Open Mr Kanji
  2. Go to Account -> Account actions -> Delete account
  3. Complete the confirmation and re-authentication prompts

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from your account email address with:

  • Subject: Account Deletion Request
  • Your account email address
  • Optional: reason for deletion

What gets deleted

  • Authentication account for Mr Kanji
  • Profile data (name fields)
  • Learning/progress and quiz progress data stored for your account
  • Notes and related user records linked to your account
  • Kanji issue reports submitted by your account, where applicable

What may remain

  • Temporary local cache on your device until app data is cleared or app is removed
  • Records that must be retained for legal, security, or fraud-prevention obligations
