Account Deletion Request

This page explains how to delete your Japan Kanji account and associated app data.
Option 1: Delete directly in the app (recommended)
- Open the Japan Kanji app.
- Go to Account -> Account actions -> Delete account
- Complete the confirmation and re-authentication prompts.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from your account email address with:
- Subject: Account Deletion Request
- Your account email address
- Optional: reason for deletion
What gets deleted
- Authentication account for Japan Kanji
- Profile data (username, email)
- Learning/progress and quiz progress data stored for your account
- Notes and related user records linked to your account
- Kanji issue reports submitted by your account, where applicable
What may remain
- Temporary local cache on your device until app data is cleared or app is removed
- Records that must be retained for legal, security, or fraud-prevention obligations
